who is vicki?

One of the reasons our produce makes its way to you is our Sales Executive, Vicki!  Her long-lasting relationships with our customers and experience within the industry makes her one-of-a-kind.

Vicki has been in the produce industry since 1975, but her love for agriculture started well before that.Her father was a farmer, and she grew up on Blanco Road surrounded by fields of cauliflower, lettuce, and more.Early on, the produce industry was calling her name.Vicki started her career doing invoicing and payroll at Green Valley Produce Co-op, several years later joined Mills Distributing Company in their accounting department, and eventually, made her way to sales there.She took a short break from sales to coach her daughter’s softball team, but found herself missing the fast-pace environment sales offers – and, that’s when she found her perfect spot at Pacific!

What is vicki’s role at Pacific?

Vicki is an incredible asset to our sales team.  She has spent 32 years of her career with Pacific handling day to day sales, outside purchase consolidation, and transportation for commodity transfers, as well as any accounting transactions that come with all duties.  Vicki is also the commodity manager for our kale, bok choy, and napa cabbage.  Her role here has allowed us to bring the best produce Mother Nature has to offer to your stores and dinner tables, and opened communication from the field to our sales office.

Why is vicki so special to us?

Vicki has been with Pacific through many changes, growth, and contributed to huge mile markers.  She exhibits the definition of loyalty and is a true team player.  Vicki shared that she loves working here, because of our “great team,” and while we are all coworkers, “many of us are good friends outside of the office.”  Her place at Pacific is valuable and irreplaceable.
